Installing a Bot after it was skipped during installation

When you skipped the Bot during install, none of the bot tables were created. This can be very hard to fix later on, you're going to have to reinstall FlashChat. Adding the Bot tables is just to difficult to explain for this document, and can be time consuming, frustrating, and produce bad results. Future versions of FlashChat allow the addition of bots after basic install, but this is not currently possible in 4.x.

For FLASHCHAT V4.4.x and up: FTP the install.php and the install_files folder to your server's chat directory (or wherever FlashChat happens to be installed). Make sure that the /bot/programe/aiml folder is CHMOD 777 and that the AIML files are still in the folder (if not, upload them). Run the install.php.

For versions earlier than 4.4.x: Upgrade to the most recent version of FlashChat. This is the only easy way to add the Bot feature.
