Couple and Group Profiles

Return to the Index

osDate v2 allows you to create a Couple / Group profile, provided that each member of the couple or group already has an existing profile.

What does this mean?

You can identify one or more independent profiles as part of a Couple / Group profile. Like a Man profile and Woman profile, or combination of two profiles can be treated as a Couple profile. If the number of profiles is more than two, then make it a Group profile.

How does it work?

First you create all individual profiles as we normally create male and female profiles. Please complete each profile in full. Then create a new profile and select Couple or Group as gender. This will ask you to add individual user names which is part of this new profile. e.g. for Couple, you may give user names of two profiles.

When user searches for couples, system will display the Couple profile details and will give link for profile of each individual member. Thus, the total number of profiles involved for a Couple is actually 3: each of the two members of the couple, and the couple profile itself. This is useful because each person in the couple may have his/her own preferences, then they may have preferences as a couple, too. We believe this mechanism provides the maximum degree of flexibility.
