E-Mail Receiving Preferences
In osDate v2, we have introduced the concept of user preferences. This is controlled at the membership level. If a membership level does not have this right, it will not be displayed in the user menu. From the user menu, click on the link My Settings. It will bring up a page containing following options.
Send e-mail when a new message is received. (Yes/No)
Send e-mail when someone winks at me. (Yes/No)
Send e-mail when someone adds a comment in my blog. (Yes/No)
Send membership expiry reminder e-mails. (Yes/No)
Send e-mail when recipient of my message read it. (Yes/No)
Send e-mail when someone adds me to a buddy list. (Yes/No)
Send e-mail when someone adds me to a ban list. (Yes/No)
Send e-mail when someone adds me to a hot list. (Yes/No)
Allow users in my buddy list to view my private albums. (Yes/No)
Allow users in my hot list to view my private albums. (Yes/No)
Frequency, in days, to send 'my matches' emails. Enter 0 if you do not wish to receive these emails.
These are just a start and new things will be added as osDate development proceeds.
All defaults are 'No'. The default Frequency for sending "my matches" email is 7 days.
This should be set if any user is not receiving some emails mentioned in this list.
