Creating and Editing Languages
TUFaT stores all of the language phrases in the database. This is done so that the entire language file does not have to be loaded on each page access; only those phrases on the current page are loaded. It also makes language management - the addition of new languages, and editing/searching of existing phrases - much more convenient. TUFaT comes with an advanced language editor.
This language editor can be accessed using the master password that was created during installation. Remember that? Step 4 of the installer...

You'll find the language option under "Administration" (remember: this option is ONLY present if you are logged in as a master/super admin).

After clicking that link most everything should be self-explanatory, but I'll run through the basics here. You can add a new language by clicking "Add language", then inputting the language name and encoding. The list of encodings are nearly identical to those that are available in most web browsers.
Existing languages can be edited by choosing the language, then finding the key or phrase that you wish to edit. You can search for any phrase by key or value.

If you've created a new language translation for TUFaT, you're encouraged to share it with other users, by uploading it to the TUFaT Code Depot.
