Features

Any image can link to an HTML popup window. This feature can be disabled in the XML configuration file. Popups are auto-centered on the user's screen. view

100% of the Flash 2004 Pro. source code is included upon purchase, including the .fla file and all Actionscript 2.0 class files. view

All options are externally configurable in an XML file, which can be easily edited using any standard text editor, like Windows Notepad or TextPad. view

Many interface elements can be edited using the XML preferences file, including several tooltip options and popup window options. view

Interface text is editable in the XML file, as well as font sizes and colors. view

Multiple transition effects are possible by simply changing an option in the XML file. Transition effects include "Blinds", "Fade", "Wipe", "Photo", "Zoom", "Squeeze", and "Pixel Dissolve". view

All sounds are externally configurable in an XML file, using MP3s. view

Images and image categories are fully configurable in the XML file. Infinitely-many images are possible in each category, and infinitely-many categories are possible. view

Category list automatically scrolls when many categories are added. Thus, there is no limit to the number of categories that can be added to the gallery. view

License

The license for Gallery by Shan permits single use only. This means that for web server scripts, such as those using PHP/MySQL/Flash/XML, you can use the software on a single website, and any sub-domains or parked domains of the website. The exception to this are the Flash Components, such as the Datagrid Extensions, which can be used on multiple projects.

You may not re-distribute or re-sell this software under any circumstances. If you are a web service provider with many customers, you can purchase multiple licenses of Gallery by Shan on behalf of your customers, but it should be clear to your users that the software is from TUFaT.com.

You should not take credit for the development of Gallery by Shan, or claim copyright ownership over this software.

If this license description is unclear in any way, just use this rule of thumb: I don't want people to attempt to compete with me on the distribution or sale of these scripts. So, if you're doing something which allows people to get this software without first going through TUFaT.com, then you're probably violating the license.

Please remember that I am a single developer who is strongly dependent on sales from TUFaT.com for my livelihood, and upgrades to these scripts - which you get for free with your purchase - depend on the sales volume. Thus, if a lot of people buy script X, then it's very likely to be upgraded a lot more in the months and years to come, and you'll reap the benefits of these upgrades. I generally put 100% of the income from sales back into development.

There are no substantial upgrades being planned for this software for 2008. If you have any ideas for new features, you're strongly encouraged to post them on the TUFaT.com forum in the appropriate category. These forum posts are quite helpful, and often serve as a 'to-do' list for later versions.
